Twickenham Pool Site - the Jubilee Gardens, 04/06/05
Kids enjoying the playground. This shot shows clearly the great loss of the big hornbeam on the corner of Wharf Lane (on the left) and the service road: it would have screened the ugly backs of the buildings in King Street, and made the view from this end of the playground much more pleasant. The pollarded hornbeam to the right appears to be struggling to survive.
